The Aviation Valley – Airline Industry Businessmen Group Association

The Aviation Valley is located in the southeastern Poland, famous for the highly developed aviation industry and many pilot training centers. This is the place of high concentration of the aviation industry companies, strengthened by the development of many research and development facilities and education and training infrastructure. Its main goal is transforming the south east of Poland into one of the leading European aviation regions, which will provide various aviation industry products and services for the most demanding clients. The result would be a dynamic development of the region, increasing the number of jobs and improving the standard of life of the locals.
Most companies participating in the project are in fact located in the Podkarpackie province, and the heart of the Aviation Valley is the capital of the region – Rzeszów.
The main goals of this undertaking are:

1. Organizing and developing a cost effective chain of suppliers.
2. Creating the conditions for development of regional aviation sector companies.
3. Continuing research, increasing knowledge and qualifications of aviation industry staff.
4. Cooperation and development of the aviation industry and universities, which will promote new ideas
    and develop the R&D sector in the aviation industry.
5. Promoting Polish aviation industry.
6. Supporting the aviation industry companies.
7. Influencing the Polish Government economic policy concerning the matters associated with
    the aviation industry.

Notably, the goal is to improve the existing production facilities, to create a stable and reliable chain of sub–suppliers and a cost effective chain of suppliers, to attract foreign investors, to develop cooperation with other aviation industry centers in Europe and to promote cooperation of the aviation industry with technical universities, and with research and development institutions.
